Well, maybe you've House-rule (har har har) the House of R. in our campaign,
Jeff, but in UA standard rules it's no such thing. In fact, it some ways
it's the direct opposite.

>From Statosphere: "The trouble with evolution is that a species such as
humanity can achieve a plateau that is largely immune to mutation . . . .
There's a way to smash this plateau of achievement, however, a way to lift
us out of the mire of stagnant order and bring us fully into mutable
entropy. It's a mutation, one that has the power to alter the direction of
human lives, causing unpredictable ripple effects in the mass of humanity.

This mutation is known as the House of Renunciation."

Rather than being for "errant children who won't play well with others", it
is supposed to be for those children who are in an unmutable unchanging rut.

I don't think a fictional character that finds themselves in the Real World
would qualify, in any way, shape, or form. I mean, exactly what is the House
trying to get them to renunciate? Hell, the Real World is probably going to
get half these fictional characters to Renunciate their former lives on its
own.
