I purposefully avoided making FT specifically a "Dark
Game", or a Horror Game, or an Action Fantasy game.
I'm making FT a combination of all these elements. It
can be horror when it needs to be, violent action,
light-hearted swashbuckling adventure, Lewis Carroll
weirdness, etc. Or combinations of these themes. Not
just the same elements over and over again.
I've got nothing against dark or horror games (I love
UA), but I'd like to create some diversity. I'll write
up (or get guest writer-GMs) to work up essays based
on Horror in FT, or Action, or Dark elements, etc.
I've also catered the game as a jumping on point for
utter newbie players and Game Masters with material
that will attract players wanting something new.

Yes and no. I have the whole game floating in my head.
It tells me which bits are important to wrote about at
certain times. This helps me keep grasp of the large
picture by jumping from point to point (and vice
versa).
I've long finished written a skeletal
draft/layout-and-outline already and I've current
written 1st Draft of the first three chapters, I've
written half of skills and feats and I'm tip-toeing my
way through the magic system (the most tricky of the
lot).
But I feel guilty doing this off-list. Could I ask you
interested fellows to contact me off-list.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Chris.
