Anecdotally, quicklime is supposed to do that but it's not an instant
process.

Even then, I hear it used more in shallow graves rather than bathtubs.

Isn't there some combination of household cleanser that dissolves flesh
and blood into a chemical soup, such that by putting the corpse in a
bathtub with it, after a couple of days you can flush your troubles down
the drain?

I think I saw it in a movie or an episode of the 'X-Files', but I've
always wondered at the legitimacy.
