I don't think the Sleepers would get involved with a
murder. Unless the victim died by repeatedly falling
to death inside his house by gravity going wonky.

I do suggest you other players pick up a police
procedure manual and check it out. Arrest rights,
Miranda rights, arraignments, bail hearings, trials
etc.

I feel a police resource book for current day games is
severely lacking. One CoC adventure had a scenario
laid out like a court case, with jury, judge and
lawyer dice rolls to determine outcome of the case.

On another foul note; locally, two paramedics followed
a dummy emergency call whereupon they were hijacked,
forced to have sex with one another, culminationg in
the female paramedic being gang-raped, and finally
they were dumped in the middle of nowhere as there
paramedic van was stolen.

The last I heard, police were following leads, which
in South Africanese English means, we aren't
bothering, fuck off.
