Ooh much liking.  Lots of work in this. but of course now I know there has to be a counter group to the Glitterati. Ones that charge up from ravaging the hotspots, keeping them from becoming the next Discotechque. Somehow I think the punk movement must be involved somewhere.  I don't think they are the opposite of the Scenesters, just a different breed of them. Those that are so selective, they must feel unique. "Well I used to  go to CBGB's, but now _everyone_ goes there. It's so passe", "Well, I used to like the Violent Femmes, but now _everyone_ listens to them". 
 
Perhaps they are just there own worst enemies. I mean once all the scenesters find a place to congregate, then it's no longer exclusive is it....
