Well avatars are all about behaviors, not attitudes, right? So it's not just 
that they can't love anyone else. I would think they couldn't pay attention 
to anyone of the opposite sex for very long (and any flirting is right-out), 
for instance. Any feelings of jealously on either side, for any reason (even 
if unfounded) would be taboo.
