Seat-of-my-pants thoughts:

The first channel sounds a bit flaky. Some people just can't stand happy 
couples, after all :).
I'd switch it with the second channel, or some form of the second -- I like 
the part about auto-psychiatric first aid.

I'd make the third channel the second channel.

I'd make the third channel some sort of skill shift applicable to ALL 
efforts to help the loved one, or perhaps a skill shift applicable to all 
checks when the Loved one is in the immediate vicinity.

I like the fourth channel just fine.
