Of course, as a Trickster I'm a naturally likable guy, and the Lady has her
own protections, so we're both set against your usual random acts of
violence. I mean, this ain't D&D -- if you leave people alone they'll tend
to not try to kill you with tire irons. Poor crazy urbanomancer is fucked
though :). (And let's face it, I and the Lady are fucked too, because Jeff
thinks we're taking advantage of him with having a Mind of 70.)
FYI I didn't take a Mind of 70 bcs of fear of madness . . . I took it
because I needed more points for the Tricky skill set I was looking for. But
I gotta admit that I'd be scared to death to play a character with a Mind
<=50, unless I had already come to terms with the idea of going batshit all
the time.
I don't know what the solution to that is, though. Everything I can come up
with ends up benefitting the guys with a high Mind skill.
And let's face it -- if Mind wasn't important, what good max-minner would
put much into it? Everyone would be walking around with high Body/Speed and
a Mind of 30. "Yeah I'm just a high-school dropout but I've got a high
Soul!" It'd be a mega-dump stat.
