That picture also reminds me of the _Tomie_ horror manga by Mr. Itoh Junji, 
where Tomie is a mysterious schoolgirl whose body constantly regenerates 
copies of herself.  At one point in the series, she starts growing a second 
face on the back of her head.  Itoh also created a manga titled _Uzumaki_.  
The comics are great - weird, gross, and scary. They've also been made into 
films in Japan.
