It's a bit of a cop out, but I don't like setting that - my
game might have a higher level of charging than yours, and
so it's for you as the GM to set this.

In my old UAC I'd set this as a Minor Ritual, with a cost of
4 minor charges to carry out. In the campaign I'm planning
at the moment, it would probably be cheaper.

Scrying should always be detectable, IMUAC, because
otherwise there's little consequence.  How they detect that
is up to the scryee. If they're not looking, they're not
likely to see it, however. What can they see? Enough to tell
what the scryee is doing, not a lot else.

No. That's a different ritual. The whole point of rituals is
that if you follow the instructions, it might work.

Fair enough. I tend to think that the mechanics of such a
ritual are so dependant on how an individual UA-GM wants
their game to run that I don't like to set down too many
restrictions - they're only going to get changed anyway. I
appreciate that YMMV.
