[UA] PDF files and UA

I think John mentioned shifting the UA books to PDF format, and I just
want to say that I always approve moving older books to PDF format. I
understand there's an issue of downloading, but older books for a game
line are often so hard to find that it becomes a pain trying to find
information for more obscure game lines. If UA is going to go out of
print, I applaud the decision to at least ensure that the game can be
found in some format.

Lately, I've been contemplating hunting down the Deadlands books and
buying them. There's a lot of books there, though, and I have so many
RPGs that I'm rapidly running out of shelf space. So when I found out
that the book PDFs were being sold at RPGnow, I was thrilled. It's a
game system I probably won't use much, and it's out of print, but I can
get all the books and reference them without chewing up a couple feet
of shelf space. You can bet that I'll be getting them as they come out.
IfUA goes this route, at least I can refer new players to the site and
they can get the books at a reduced cost.

So yay for PDFs. There are problems with them, but I wish more
companies would do this for out-of-print books.
