It's ultimately a much less approachable RPG than many more successful

It's like that being an afficionado of Wraith. Even fans of other WW games
seem to have a hard time simply understanding how you'd play Wraith, let
alone consider it -worth- playing. I've heard it called unplayable on
various occasions.
And yet my longest and most worthwhile campaign -ever- was a Wraith game,
with a group of people who'd never even flipped through a Wraith book before
beginning (ie, they weren't die-hard fans).
UA seems a bit like that. Fortunately it has a higher mobster/Guy
Ritchie/Tarantinoesque "cool" factor, so people -can- get into it somewhat
more easily.
