[UA] A good place for photos & a film recommendation

In trawling the web for photos of people and places useful for a UA
campaign, I have discovered that there is a lot of good stuff on
www.pbase.com, which is a photography sharing community. I've found that
doing searches on the site for very general terms, and then sifting through
the results is the best way to find good stuff. Examples to try: 'man',
'guy', 'woman', 'girl', 'dark', 'scary' etc. Hope this is useful for
someone.

Also, last night I went to see the horror film "28 days later", and I have
to say that it's one of the best horror movies I've ever seen. There is
plenty of UAish stuff in there, even though the premise is an apocalypse
caused by a virus, rather than anything magical. The cinematography and
producion design struck me as being utterly UA, with its bleak, grainy style
and subtly disturbing production tricks. The acting and direction was also
good-- seeing the consequences of brutal violence, isolation and
helplessness on the main characters was very UA, even if the semi-hollywood
ending did sell it out a bit (they actually played an alternative ending
after the credits that was much bleaker and more fitting, even if it felt
less good to watch). Anyway, highly recommended.
