[UA] Help my new Archetype.

Hey all.

I have decided to create a new archetype for a PC to
channel. The character is an obsessive car nut and
would most likely channel the Charioteer.

I am having problems working the channels as I want
them to be unique to the Charioteer. I don’t want
Messenger or Pilgrim channels, no matter how well they
fit in with the concept, (although similar, Charioteer
versions would work).

Here’s what I have already.

Thanks,

Chris.

Charioteer (the Driver, the Steersman, the Pilot, etc)

The Charioteer pilots, rides, or drives a vehicle. It
cannot be an animal directly, but it can be
animal-powered – like a transom cab or chariot. It can
be a helicopter, a ship, a fixed-wing aircraft, a
skateboard, a car, a bicycle, a train, or any mechanic
vehicle.

Although the vehicle is critical, it is not essential.
The Charioteer can pilot any vehicle and channel the
archetype.

Taboo: The charioteer must operate and steer the
vehicle. If he doesn’t he is in risk of violating the
Charoteer’s taboo.

Figures in History/Possible Avatars/yadda yadda.
Racing drivers, airline or jet aircraft pilots, ship
steersmen, etc.

Channels

1st	The Charioteer can operate his vehicle by rolling
his Avatar: Charioteer skill. The avatar has
essentially an extra action when piloting his vehicle.
He may reroll any failed Drive roll with his
Charioteer skill, or vice versa.

A charioteer who is piloting a vehicle and is in an
accident, he automatically takes the lowest possible
damage from the dice crash.

2nd	The charioteer may successfully operate any
vehicle that seems in reasonable condition. The
vehicle may not be comfortable but it will perform as
it would if it was in running condition. This doesn’t
work if the vehicle is obviously impossible to drive –
no engine, no wheels, etc

Here’s where the trouble happens.

3rd	Something like all roads lead to Rome, but
different from the Pilgrim’s travel ability.

4th	Something about swapping the passengers of one
vehicle with those of another. The transition happens
when everyone blinks, etc.

That's pretty much it.
