Because when I started it, I was a student there.  That's also why the
Max Attax list is located at purpletape.cs.uchicago.edu.  Purpletape
was the true name of the machine that used to be lists.uchicago.edu.

There are a number of UA-friendly gamers in the Hyde Park area, but
since many of them read this list, I'll allow them to respond
themselves.  I moved to Santa Barbara two years ago.

A good place to meet like-minded people is at the university's Science
Fiction Club (known as Skiffy).  From what I've heard it's declined
somewhat in the last few years, but you can still probably find some
gamers there.
