As for my votes on actors I think good suggestions have already been said.
The real question is who will be the director.  That is the real vision
behind the film.  My first vote would go to Christopher Nolan.  My second
thought while sitting here is Terry Gilliam.  I also have to put a wildcard
vote in for Alan Parker.  I know he hasn't done anything of this style
before but he is an excellent director who doesn't care what execs say.  If
the script was good and he connected with it I think he could make a
stunning movie.
