We had a similar situation in Chicago last year, but it was a Lutheran
church that was doing it.  They didn't outright claim to be Catholic, but
they advertised around a lot of heavily-Catholic Hispanic neighborhoods and
put on enough Catholic-looking trappings inside the church to fool a casual
churchgoer.  The "Mass" was done in Spanish, but if anyone tried asking any
specific questions about what was going on, they'd only get answers in
English.
