Not always -- it also gives you time to be overwrought and really flip
out. And your hardcore copromancer is likely to develop piles, ulcerative
colitis and all sorts of other wonderful maladies, which would make it a
little harder to chill out and meditate.

A friend of mine (jokingly) suggested something like this school years ago,
when we were talking about variant paradigms of magic use in D&D. I
couldn't help but think of the scene in "The Fisher King" when Parry talks
about the first time the fairies appeared -- he was "having one of those
really mystical, transcendental bowel motions" when *POP* they were
suddenly there. Perhaps this could form the basis of a ritual, maybe even
a minor blast?

Last night, I dreamt that I'd pinned Bruce Willis beneath an unpainted
section of picket fence in his front yard, and that I beat him to death
with a copy of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. I awoke with blood on my
face. Note to self: never eat penne before bedtime again.
