I've actually contemplated similar lines, based on (1) the fortune teller
in the bathroom from "Like A Velvet Glove Cast In Iron" and (2) the bit
from Blue Man group about how everyone is part of a single network.  (It's
a fun bit: They make you think it's going to be the internet until you see
the male and female bathroom signs on the diagram.  "The fascinating thing
about this network is that it is universally designed to flow in one
direction: Away.  Occasionally, however, blockages or interference can
cause flow reversal errors.  What that happens, we say the system has
become 'interactive'.")
