The 2 easy outcomes I can think of are:

1) She is a demon with obsession "get the spineless coward of my husband
to pay". This is pretty straightfoward and gives you an enemy right out
to use in a campaing.

2) She is a demon with obsession "I want to be with my beloved husband".
She REALLY loves him. She REALLY is glad that he got away and was saved.
She REALLY wants to be with him and help him, take care of him, and show
her deep love for him. Interesting points: 1) She is a demon, so his obsession
means that NOTHING will stand against her and his love, no petty things
like possesing whoever is available, being very jealous, use possesed bodies
as human shields to protect him 2) This is going to be hard for him, maybe
harder than if she hated his guts. 

Now wait for the incredible twisted and sick ideas the real pros in this
lists are going to give you :-)
