are helpless: nobody knows, who the mysterious yeller is and what the 
noise could mean. [well how to translate Öööööh?] Each night the cries 
sound over a backyard in a Hamburg neighborhood. It has been months 
already that the bizarre screaming has caused the about 1000 residents 
sleepless nights.


So what's this? Who goes out at night screaming to terrify some people?
