There was a nicely postmodern bit in his talk, actually.

"I always carry these herbs with me, because if I accidentally eat pork, or 
beef, then I trance... the herbs help me to drive out the spirit. But then 
I came here to England and found out it is an allergy."


The drum, by the way, looks a lot like a bodhran, and is played in a 
similar way, but with only a single-headed stick.
