Hah! I have this image of a sect of people -- or maybe just an ensorcelled 
(is that a word?) group of normal folks unable to understand any sentence 
that has any French words in it. Or, taken to extremes, any words that have 
the letter "e" in them. Or any sentences longer than six words long.

The question is, how long would it take the players to figure out what the 
hell was going on? :)
