I do understand it, and undoubtedly so do you. Keep it off-list. Barring
UA-relevant bits, it has no more place here than a discussion of your
favorite breakfast cereals. There are a thousand thousand places to discuss
the war; there are about two to discuss UA and this is one of them. If you'd
like to yell at me about this, you're welcome to do so via private email:
john at tynes.com. But like changing your underwear, you shouldn't do it in
public.

This is in no way meant to discourage those who want to discuss ways to
examine and filter this event through UA's assorted lenses. Part of my goal
in creating UA was to develop a set of tools with which gamers could poke
and prod at the world they know.

That said, my personal appetite for discussing the war in UA terms is
presently non-existent.
