Caffeine Adepts ( was RE: [UA] Re: Is God A Carp?)

	Again, this is sounding more and more like a set of
narco-alchemist works than a whole school. Being at work, I don't have a
book in front of me, but I don't believe there are any examples of
amphetamine works. The powers being attributed to the stimulants are
just extreme examples of what they do to the body anyway. Narquies are
unfairly pidgeonholed into drug addicts, when their alchemy leanings
offer so many more possibilities. But it's a school that requires a
sharp mind, and a lot of creativity, because the works listed are
extremely limited. But spend some time and you can make some wonderful
works from drugs a lot less illegal. Works from Aspirin, Viagra,
Diabetes medication, hypertension meds, anti-depressants... the mind
boggles at what they could do if their effects were taken to iconic or
mythic extremes.
	I mean there may be a group of Caffeine adepets somewhere,
tossing back Jolt and Espresso to run fast and stay up for days... but
they must seem hopelessly limited and narrow minded to the enlightened
Narquie.
	I mean an enterprising duke could probably create and market
works targeted towards other adepts: The batches of High-energy
drink/Hallucinogen works for 101001101 that makes it impossible to sleep
but sets the dreaming parts of your mind in motion anyway. Alcohol works
for Boozehounds. Diet suppliment works for Anorexomancers... big batch,
low turnaround time stuff that keeps the cash rolling in to fund your
high end experiments for that elusive major work...

Perhaps you should just expand the concept of speed in general, and
have caffeine be one specific manifestation of the school (or whatever
form it takes).  Other forms could be driving really fast, other
stimulants, trying to accomplish any task really fast and others.
