Nothing special. Only because I'm half-Chinese (Mom) and my wife is from
Hong Kong (so I'm learning Cantonese; very colloquial language that doesn't
translate well into written form). I'm practically illiterate though since
I've never had much formal schooling with Chinese.
I took 12 semester hours of Russian about 13 years ago in college and can
still can carry a decent conversation with my Russian colleagues. I can read
at about the 3rd grade-level.
Spanish is something I'm working on these days. Lots of opportunities to
learn here in the South ("Hotlanta") with the Hispanic immigrants.
