    Why thank you.  :)  I wrote my own "future history" (for a number of 
reasons) but Firefly is definitely my major inspiration.  Unknown 
Armies' humanocentricity is perfect for a space setting where there are 
no aliens.  It also helps explain (out of game, anyway) why there might 
be so many habitable planets - the Universe itself is in on it.

    Of course, Firefly isn't my only inspiration.  I've got an "Empire" 
instead of "the Alliance"; "jump points" instead of 
faster-than-light-travel (assuming Firefly has FTL); I still have Earth...
