I don't even know where to start... Wait, I do.

That hidden system garnered a major charge for somebody. At
least one, maybe more, because people didn't even know it was
there. Some sort of mojo's fuzzed its existence up til now...
But what has changed? Obviously the adept behind the project is
now dead, and his/her safeguards are breaking down. Now, a mad
scramble in the Japanese OU to populate this lost tunnels
begins...

...but, unfortunately, it's all balls. The discoverer's just
nuts, the tunnels don't exist, and are merely a delusion spurred
by misunderstandings of subway construction and misprinted
tunnel maps.

Blood in the tunnels, nonetheless, as every duke out there is
looking for their Subway Shangri-La.

(Goldstein's DARK CITIES UNDERGORUND deals with some subway
magic; might be a good concept for the hidden line...)
