   One variant is stillborn, but there are a number of others already in
full swing: http://www.ideosphere.com/fx/ for example. The Long Now people
are involved in something similar, I believe.

   These things have been around for ages. John Brunner even predicted a
national market-based predictions system run by the government in "The
Shockwave Rider", and he wrote that back in '75.
