Easy as a proverbially easy thing. Just knock the top off UA, and put
Nobilis there.

In this world, there aren't any ascended archetypes, exactly. Instead,
those roles are occupied by Imperators. When the right concepts jell
properly in the world, a new Imperator is born, who then picks his Nobles.

Nobles, here, are stand-ins for Godwalkers. They'll be somewhat more
powerful, and thus tougher to kill, but they won't be quite as stable as
in normal Nobilis. See, the Imperators want their Nobles to be the people
who best embody their aspects of reality. So, if some other guy manages
to beat the Noble in that regard, despite the handicap of mortality, the
Noble gets replaced with the new guy in his place.

Avatars fall into the Mystery Cultist role in Nobilis. They get powers
from their devotion to the Imperator, but not on a level with a
Godwalker/Noble's ones.

Now, in this view, a human can't truly Ascend, unless we change what it
means to be an Imperator. Most likely, the best a human can manage is to
be instrumental to the birth of an Imperator and get picked as his first
Noble. Still, on the other hand, a Godwalker can do a lot more to reshape
the world than one can in normal UA, about as much as an ascended
archetype can do, so it evens out.

All in all, it seems to fit fairly well.

But then, UA is good in mixes. Ask me about UA and Kult, some time.
