You've reviewed Summerland? Send me the details.
And yeah, I'm another person who didn't think much of American Gods. I won't
say it was a bad book, per se, but it was utterly predictable. It's
_exactly_ the sort of book you'd see in your head if you thought 'What if
Neil Gaiman wrote a book about modern-day gods?', down to the last obvious
twist; there are no surpises, no innovations, nothing that isn't exactly
what you'd expect Gaiman to do.
The point where I can work out the book's plot, tone and style before
reading it is the point where I lose interest.
