[UA] God in the Machine

I find this stuff interesting being a mathematics buff and also working in
the computer field.

Another interesting mathematical theory to possibly inspire us for UA would
be the Continuum Problem. The very problem that drove Georg Cantor to
insanity. Cantor was also interested in proving the existence of God, and
went about it by defining varying "levels" or "degrees" of Infinity. He was
greatly influenced by some of the occult traditions of Kabbalah.
Interestingly, his theorem, Cantor's Theorem about sets of numbers, was
later picked up by Gödel, who also became paranoid and insane during his
lifetime due to his mathematical research.

So, from a UA point of view:

What really drove these geniuses over the edge? Could it be a form of
mathematical magick they were involved in? And if so, then what is the
magick of numbers? And what does "infinite" really mean to the occult
underground? Could infinity pose a threat to the Invisible Clergy because
they know their time will certainly end at some point.

Just some thoughts, my mind could go on and on, perhaps this will be the
basis for my first UA adventure.....
