So that's where that jerk came from. He almost killed my entropomancer, 
Trevor . . . I still get a little uneasy anytime Jeff (UA DM) says the word 
"change".

An easy and probably ineffective idea: what if the wacky transient wandering 
around the fountain (well, that's where we met him in our campaign) was an 
American who spoke little to no German? How many people in your group speak 
a little english?
