Strange, I was thinking about doing something almost like that.  The 
memories they would be missing is that they all joined TNI.  The kicker is 
that one of them has become a Sleeper mole in TNI and not even know 
it.  The first amusing scene would be them finding they all have packs full 
of cool high tech gadgets.  Then they would meet TNI agents talking their 
confusing slang at them.  The other amusing scene is when one of them finds 
he has a secret compartment in his pack with REALLY cool high tech 
gadgets.  I would hope the Sleeper mole would do something like innocently 
ask Eponymous, "Do you know why I have all this EXTRA cool stuff?"  This 
would be amusing (at least for the GM).
