I thought about it, but the advantages of being a shooter rather than a
puncher are already substantial.  I felt that if I added in a bunch of
shooter cherries, it would essentially make the martial arts cherries
obsolete because no one would ever use them -- or if they did, they'd use
them while feeling resentful that Joey Gunbunny was getting all the best
action tropes without rolling matches.

In short -- I think that having martial arts cherries without gun cherries
evens the score a little, without sacrificing the inherent reality that a
gun is far more likely to kill you than even an expert kick.

Living with a toddler?  Well, I guess it's not that much different from any
other room mate who thinks that squatting naked on the kitchen floor eating
pretzel sticks is a good way to start the morning.
