[UA] Post-Modern...really?

And here I've been using the notion of postmodernism I
picked up from my art theory class, that being a heavy
influence of group collaboration, multicultural
appropriation and focus on concerns of contemporary
thought without the hindrances of esoteric,
traditionalist dogma.

I basically explain it as magic entirely focused on
the contemporary salience. If a lot of people care
about something right now, there's mojo to be gained
from it. Once that thing stops being salient, there is
less mojo to be found. Magic is sort of the barometer
of the global zeitgeist.
