Hummm....i agree to a point. There are ways to circunvent this.

Ok, my experience in doing a brazilian list was not the most succesfull.
People that enjoy this kind of setting came to it, but they are feel, and
just a couple of them ended up buying the game.

On the other side im finishing university and my paper will be about "RPG
semiotics". What differs at the level of semiosis from other kinds of media
and such. So, one of the things im doing, is to get people to play UA. Why
UA? Its has a broaders role for characters, so i can get a wider range of
archetypes, and then, of character types. The repertory of symbols employed
in the making and conducting of characters are bigger than most RPG types.
Another fact is that the player full repertory can be used, since is a
comtemporary roleplayng game that won't force roles to anyone.

And doing this, besides helping me with my papers, im ending up with two
more squads...err...i mean, two more RPG groups. Besides, i will only run
the game in a initial phase, and people from those groups will be masters
and players alo, so i can "test" more approachs to the subject.

And, as a later point...people get into the game easier when there is
another reason besides "fun". Why? Coz fun can be reached in other forms,
and in a less elaborate way, without any effort from "the audience".

Now you guys can call me Frankstein at any time. :)
