[UA] New to List & Question

Hey all. =)
 
I've played UA for, well, about a year, now, but I just found the list
and figured I should join. Just saying "hi" to assorted and sundry.
Great game, keep on playing, etc.
 
Now, more to the point. I'm actually a student at the University of
Chicago, and I'm wondering why the list is hosted by the U of C. Is
there a huge UA fanclub here that I've somehow . missed? If so, someone
let me in. Or something.
