[UA] Burning Bright

He sits there at the end of the table, looking at the hungry eyes of his
players. They all have gathered to get their fix, for he is their drug of
choice.
They hungry for more, eating up the seconds and waiting for more. There is
no delay for him, they just want more, more, more. This has been going on
for years. When all is said and done, they leave, gone off to do their
thing. Leaving him to think of the next session.
The problem is that he has been burning brightly for a while, all ideas that
have come are now gobbled up and forgotten memories. Now, he has alienated
several of his players, for cancelling out sessions. They are mad at him,
they want their fix. Those sensory addicts lash out at him for denying them
their addiction.
The light was a burning chrome and now just oozing out 40 wattage of
unsatisfy warmth. All he wants is time to recharge, just a little time,
that's all is required. But, some of them don't see that. For He feels that
he is just their drug of choice, to be used and then discarded until the
next fix.
My Question is: Has anyone else felt this way?
