Okay, this is utterly fabulous and wicked cool.  Here's
why:  Put this guy into your next game, especially if it's
a horror game.  Watch the reactions of the players.

At best, it'll be:

"This nut buys and sells bones?  I'll keep an eye on him
and see if he robs graves."

Most likely (depending on how paranoid your players are),
it'll be:

"This crazy-ass psycho buys bones?  I shoot him in the
fucking face before he casts any evil spells on me!"

Then you get to have a fugitive in the party.

One thing I like to do is to give a mostly normal person
some interesting trappings.  Many players immediately think
of him as evil but learn that he's not so bad.  I may have
to throw this into a D&D game.  People will immediately
assume he's a necromancer or something.

Heh, watch The Caveman's Valentine for an idea of how to
portray a subjectively innocent person as totally wonkers.
