October 2000.  All posts between Oct 7 and Oct 12 (and some on the 
twelfth and the seventh) are missing in the 2000-October.txt.gz, but 
replies reveal that posting did occur, including the CatSoM post I 
mentioned.

The thread/subject/author/date archive for that month is worse, as it 
cuts off completely on the sixth.

There may be other holes in the archives, but I'm currently unaware of 
them.  I only even noticed this one a couple months back when trying to 
track down that post, and otherwise would have overlooked it.
