There's Senate House, the central building of the University of London, on
the west side of Russell Square. It was the inspiration for Orwell's
Ministry of Truth (architecture-wise - the university's okay). If you've
seen the film of 1984, it's the building they use for the Ministry in that.
The other side of Russel Square, on a street just off it, is a pub called
"The Friend At Hand". It's not historically amazing, but it was the PCs'
hang-out in my UA game, so I thought I'd mention it.
More as and when I think of them.
