RES: [UA] The last game session in DL's dinner room (may - 9) [part2]

jogo é nessa quarta que vêm.]
When Chalker, Montoya and Holt shows up, Mancinni gives a big "gulp". He
tries to stay cool, but it is perceptibily tense, really nervous about it.
They taunt him, and Chalker even pops up name "Hart", and make up that Hart
is a FBI agent, everything was a setup, and tell to Mancine that would be
better if he comes along with them to the airport parking lot. He almost
resist, and was really tempeted to draw his gun (i know those things,
because my players usually tell in the game sessions how their characters
"think".)
They end up going to the parking lot. Mancinni is again under taunts and
pressure, they want to know where is his car, so they will lock in up in the
trunk, so they don't have to really worry with him anymore. They ask him his
gun, and remeber him how FBI will screw with his life if he does something
bad. Chalker makes a move to use again his book, and Palermo loses a
"mild-stress-check" [note: i made a check just to see how bothered he was
with unnatural. Them he choose "flee". Since was not a really stressfull
check, he just "left for buy cigarettes" or something, before a really bad
check would happen] and Holt tells the guys he have to buy something. When
he leaves, Mancinni is again trying to argue. Chalker pressures again, and
then Mancinni snaps, drawing his gun [he have some special feeling about the
gun or something. Hey, its the player character, not mine, i know this is a
corny cliché]. Chalker tries to reach it, telling him not to be a fool. At
the same moment, Chalker receives two gun shots in the chest, and Montoya
touch Mancinni in the shoulder, breaking one of his ribs with Epideromancy.
Chalker grins and tell Mancinni to use silver bullets in the next time
[note: of course, silver bullets would have the same effect as normal
bullets, was just a joke a joke for Chalker, but both characters take it
seriously, and both Mancinni and Montoya (and both players), got scaried.
The characters make unnatural stress checks, but both are ok.], pulling hard
the gun from his hand, and breaking one of Mancinni's fingers. They knock
him out with a punch, and leave, meeting Holt in the way.
Mancinni wakes up half an hour later. Feeling luck for not been found this
way, he walks, craw, to his car. After hauling himself in, with a finger and
rib broken, and a black eye, he looks to the side, and see Hart there. He
says he is very disapointed. Mancinni is angry with him, still believing
(the player also) that he have turn on him. After been called by Hart of
"amateur", Mancinni draws his weapon (Chalker saw no point in taking the gun
away, he was already beaten, and out of his life, at least thats what he
thought), but them Hart uses a sig charge, is sucessfull, and hit him with a
Plutomancer sig blast he "got" from one of his ghost. Mancinni shots himself
in the head. Miraculously, he is still alive (im not sure about all this.
Usually i will not make a roll for someone pointing a gun to its own head
and shooting, but...well, João was already beaten dead, and i decided to
give him some chance, them he "missed" the shot. BUT, his GIRLFRIEND say
that was unfair - you should have seen the look on his face, puzzled by her
reaction - and reason to me...so i said, ok, he was hit on the head, and
very close to death...), Hart them comes close, and using a Exhalomancer
blast, Inhale Mancinni soul.
The session ends at that point. Eduardo e Palermo almost freak with this,
with a "fuck, what that hell is this guys", popping out from their
expression. João was bitter, and imagined he was "just dead". I ask the guys
to talk to him, coz i have plans for his character, but he didnt think this
would be cool. He wanted his mob character, not a ghost. So i got ready to
use it as a GMC in the ghost next session.
In the mean time, i wrote Exhalomancy, to avoid making the NPC too
powerfull. Since i work mostly wqith improvisation, if i don't set the rules
to keep myself on the line, this could end terrible to the players.
I have to work on something (a layout to htmlize...), so i write the last
session ina "night email". Cya.
