Alternative disco-venues are ideal for this sort of thing, (*) and are a 
favourite of mine. There are two of these venues in my hometown. 
both occupy (with city council approval, take note :-)) two 
dismissed industrial area. Needless to say, they are a boon for 
people looking for something different from your usual discotheque, 
and you can meet some _really weird_ folk there. (epidomancers 
and dipsomancers a gogo :-)) 

Think about it: strobo lights, pounding subdued techno, something 
moving that resembles people but, hey, you can only see their 
silhouette. And something really weird happens....

Me too. I didn't (and i still don't) like ADnD, while I still love the 
simplicity of the "red box". 

(*) My first UA scenario took place in one of these venues -- it 
made my players quite paranoid :-)
