Okay.
It was everyone's most deferred-to occultist
Edmund-or-Aleister Crowley. He was really sensitive
about sorcery being confused with stage magician
tricks, and wanted to add some granduer and deference
to the word magic by plugging the Special K onto it.
I personally like the philosophy that magic is merely
parlour tricks on a weirder scale. I suppose its
resentlful tongue-in-cheek humour that magic is only
fantasy! ;p
Either way magic should be without the Special K. It
looks like some sort of terrible anchor glued to the
back of a perfectly elegant word.
