Even if you educated the masses, they still do not wish to depart from their
safe haven. They want to continue on, and if you force a new game on them.
They will tend to hate it. This is coming from my own experience.
Force is too strong of a word though, I just wanted to give the players a
taste of the other realms that is out there. To open their eyes and see what
lies behind the viel of imagination. What horror might lurk behind the next
bend, something strange like a Carnal instead of an orc waiting with a
short.

But, there is a certain point in a campaign where characters are discarding
magical items because they have too much. Then they want to find more stuff
to discard the stuff that they do have. I guess that is why fantasy is king,
players can horde magical items... while in a game like UA magick rules, but
artifacts and items are hard to come by.
