It would not hurt you one little bit to never play in
a LARP.  LARP Mean Live Action Roleplaying, the
deformed swamp baby of impromptu theatre and RPGs. 
LARPs always happen in real time.  Playing in a LARP
either means running around with a pretend sword,
bashing people and shouting out hit points or watching
several groups of bored people milling around a grange
hall or something, going out to smoke, coming back in
and making in-jokes.

Maybe one LARP in fifty is fun, but I still play them
religiously.  I'm a big ham.
