This is the same guy that wrote The GOlden Compass, Subtly Knife, etc,
right?

Well, i love The Golden Compass, really love it...but he really knows how to
ruin the good stuff he made. :)   The third book, The Amber Spyglass, is
devious...i hate it with all my strenght. And the second book is a nice
example of "how you should not rush your stories".

Im really afraid to get anything from him, ever, again.
