[UA] The Royal Tennenbaums

As a bit of an ode to The Royal Tennenbaums, an homage
to Sandman #1, and inspired by the recent list of
campaign premises, I'm currently trying to get
together a UA game dealing with the ramifications of
the death of a great patriarch. The PCs would, of
course, play extended family members drawn together
for the funeral and the reading of the will. I'm
trying to keep the archetypal UA weirdness out and
concentrate more on just randomly weird occultic
shenanigans (less avatars, more unnatural phenomenon).
Any ideas from the list? I'm aiming more for the kind
of splintered, dysfuntional family squabbles, with
perhaps some occultic weirdness mixed in, than the
more UA-standard of "Daddy is no longer with us
because he's gone on to the Invisible Clergy." schtick.
