Hello,
All this talk about Cagliostro and a Supressed
Transmission 2 footnote has started me on my way to
creating a new adventure for UA.
Admittedly I don't have much. Just some attempts at
brainstorming.
Here's what I got -
Premise - A cabal of pranksters get drawn into the
tangled art dealings of the living and the dead.
Twist - A secret of transmigration may be trapped in
a hitherto unknown piece done by Andy Warhol: The
Subject - Giuseppe Balsamo!
(Note - Giuseppe, Cagliostro's alleged true identity,
died in August 26 1795 in a castle in San Leo. This
was after The Pope turned The Inquisition's death
sentence to life imprisonment in San Angelo - the
original tomb of Roman Emperor Hadrian - and a botched
escape attempt. Plenty of room for secret history
here if necessary.
I opt for this all to be only marginally relevant.)
I do see the Dealership and The Trickster Avatar
involved somehow.
The Comte is also good fit. I mean they did meet up
in London in 18th century and CSG did intiate
Cagliostro in Egyptian Freemasonry. But this seems way
too
obvious to me. I like keeping CSG way in the back of
occult underground goings-on.
As for the cabal of pranksters, I was thinking a small
non-violent group of dissenters looking to expose "The
Big Lie". Perhaps a more realistic, less schizo spin
on OTE's Cut-Ups.
As Andy Warhol... Well it would just be amusing to
make connections between the occult underground and
the 70s art scene. I have yet to do the research to
see how this would work in. Like I said I'm just
brainstorming.
So what would any of you do with this...anything?
g.
